When our regular brand of nappies started manufacturing in China, we went on the hunt for an Australian made nappy - a difficult task! Mater were the only brand we could find to be made in Australia - an essential requirement for us. It turns out that it was a very fortuitous change, as I would never have discovered this wonderful brand otherwise! I find these nappies light weight, a very good fit even for our chubby baby, and absorbent for 12 hours overnight. They are just brilliant! They really do a magnificent job of drawing away poo and wee from the skin without having to be bulky and heavily padded, like our previous brand. I’m only sorry that I didn’t know about and use Mater nappies for my first child. Highly recommend!

I tried out the mater mother’s crawlers nappies and was surprised how soft they are. They were so comfy around my sons big chunky thighs. No leaks over night which is great! The only thing that would have helped would be some elastic around the top at the back to help with #2 explosions coming out the top. Otherwise a really great nappy. I’m definitely impressed with them.
